Salvations Path
I closed my eyes and found myself
At the foot of the cross
Gazing upon the loving sacrifice
For words I was at a loss
This unparalleled love
So hard to comprehend
To save me from damnation
God chose His Son to send
May all I do reflect the message
That He chose this life to spare
Never forget it was my sin
Not nails that held Him there
Once my steps leading toward the fire
You turned me away from the wrath
Revealed the Gospel to me
Placed me on Salvations path.

What tender moments
When we kneel to pray
When we go to Him
Speak what our heart has to say
All of us revealed
From Him we cannot hide
Our hearts fully open
In His truth we can abide
His peace comes upon us
We and His Spirit are aligned
O the joy communing with Him
Precious moments defined.

It brought my thoughts to Jesus
Who takes away all my fears
His presence in everything around us
