My heart overflows with joy
Because of what my God has done for me
With love He sent His only Son
To die upon that tree
The perfect One took on my sin
Suffered and endured the pain
Died upon the cross, was buried
Fulfilled His promise and rose again
Now He sits beside the Father
I sing praise my Savior to thee
My heart overflows with joy in my salvation
Because of what my God has done for me.

I gaze upon the stars, beautiful and bright
Placed on a background of midnight blue
Numbers far too many to imagine
Hard to comprehend each one placed by You
O the many marvels of this world
The mountains,sunsets, the vastness of the sea
I raise my arms toward the heavens in praise
To the creator of all who loves me.

Where is my refuge
Where can I go
How do I climb
From this valley so low

Where is my cover
From problems upon me like rain
Where is my comfort
From heartache and pain

It says in His Word
Let the children come to Me
I Pray to You Lord
Open my eyes to see

Only You Lord can save me
You know what is best
In You Lord, only
Can my heart find rest

My comfort and refuge
Away from life’s harms
Safe and secure
In my Saviors arms.

Oh God, You who tell the mountains to move
On Your command it is so
You who call upon the winds
Tell them which way to go

You control the mighty oceans
They flow endlessly upon Your will
The birds in the air sing a worship song
You speak, at once they are still

Amazed to think a God so awesome and mighty
Who controls the stars, the moon and the sun
Would love and care for this lowly sinful life
Chosen before time had begun.

Walking along the shoreline
Day ends, sunsets begun
Bringing to mind the glory of God
Brighter than the light of the sun
The sky explodes in magnificent colors
Even this moment long ago planned
Every space of this incredible canvas
Painted with care by the Creators hand
My eyes filled with this beauty
My heart filled with thanks and love
Arms raised in praising gesture
I sing Glory to my God above.
