On My Knees

I fall to my knees to thank You Lord
For all You have done for me
The gift of my salvation
Your sacrifice on Calvary

To thank You for Your Spirit
With me every day
Guiding and directing me
Which is why, on my knees I pray

The grace and love that flows freely
Your arms that open wide for me
The way You changed this heart of mine
In thanks, I pray on bended knee

I, one who is so unworthy
Approach Your magnificent throne
While kneeling humbly at Your feet
With love You still call me Your own

On my knees my face to the ground
I give You love, honor, glory and praise
For what You have done I can never repay
On my knees I will thank You all my days.

O What A Morning

O what a morning
To rise up out of bed
Open Your Word
Read what You said
To fill my heart
Before I start my day
Read and meditate
Listen to what You still stay
Ask to follow closely
To what is Your will
Allow Your Spirit to speak
To listen and be still
O what a morning

Not My Choice

Feeling the warmth of the sun
Sitting amongst Gods’ beauty that abounds
The rivers, the birds the wind in the trees
Making music with their God given sounds
Like everything around me, I am here
Because He wants me to be
Reflecting on that wonderful day
When He opened my eyes to see
I was a lost sinner without any hope
Till that day I heard His voice
Salvation was mine when He called me
It was His will, not my choice.

Born Again Christmas

My face glowed bright as the time drew near
A warm feeling within me of wonderful cheer
Watching and waiting for the first signs of snow
My mind in a dance, happy thoughts all aglow

I remember thoughts of sadness also on those Christmases past
That the feeling of joy it just couldn’t last
I felt like something was missing and just not right
As I sat there and thought on Christmas night

Now those feelings have changed along with my heart
I am humbled and thankful with my brand new start
I am happy and joyful and now I can sing
I am a child again celebrating the birth of a King.

Wildflowers

A quiet walk in the countryside
Amongst where the wildflowers have grown
The sweetest aroma, most beautiful flowers
More amazing than you have ever known
Though just a hint of the aroma and beauty
That is produced where a seed was sown
In your heart when you came to know Him
Where God’s word was planted, now grown
