I hear Your voice
In the mighty river rushing by
A hint of Your Glory
In a blue summer sky
I see Your tenderness
In the fresh fallen snow
Your sovereign will
As spring flowers start to grow
The majestic mountains
Giant redwoods reaching so high
A storm-ending rainbow
Star filled winter sky
To You the Great Creator
I give thanks as I continue to pray
That I am always reminded of Your coming
As the night turns to day.

Watching a beautiful sunset
In awe of the colors that abound
My joy in creation enhanced
With this new life I have found
For with this new heart
New sight to see views that astound
And realize the beauty of His creation

Thank You Lord for all You provide
The strength You give to complete some task
Or calmness and peace in situations
When I don’t even ask
Your Holy Spirits’ guidance
When I am at that fork in the road
Or Your shoulders that You give
To help me with some heavy load
In my walk with You my Lord
So many blessings You do impart
And one I am so grateful for
The joy in the gift of this new heart.

As a bit of red appears so far away
