I lift up my voice in honor and praise
To the One who saved me from sin
May my voice echo through the mountains
With this song of joy from deep within

I lift my voice to the glory of God
The One who reached out and in mercy set me free
May my voice be carried on the wind to many
With the glorious message of Calvary.

Surrounded by the world
Mindful of the way it can pull me in
My eyes centered on the cross
Mindful of the traps of sin
Yet at times I tire, grow weary
In my humanity give in to fear
Which is why I come to You on my knees Lord

While praying I had this wonderful thought
Of the moment my new heart was conceived
That glorious peace that overcame me

Thinking I was ready to make a choice
Yet it was nothing I did for my salvation
I was saved the moment I heard His Voice.
