Then sensed that You were there

Your tender mercies overwhelming
Your kindness more than I can bear
Your love takes my breath away
I am amazed how much You care

I pray these gifts emanate from my heart
On my knees Lord I humbly pray
To be more like my Lord and Savior
And love others the very same way.

A free saved man
Once buried in sin
How do I thank You
Where do I begin

You came in sacrifice
Left Your Spirit behind
Forever to guide me
In my heart and mind

What a Savior, what a friend
You laid down Your life for me
I pray for Your Spirits help
So forever You will see

That I live my life solely for You
In every single way
And give You the love You deserve
More and more each passing day.

To walk in the footsteps
Guided by the Lord
Follow the example
That must not be ignored
To be sensitive to His Spirit
In all we say and do
Know the desire of the Lord
At once follow it through
Perfect obedience what we long for
Thus should be our life story
To live a life for Christ
