And the faithful way You are always there

And how You lift me up when I stumble and fall

And my salvation, all the joy You have given me
For Your Word that keeps a smile on my hearts face
And showers me in love and abundant grace.

Father I thank You for being there
As I yearned to crawl no more
Not relying to hold myself up
On the things of this world I did adore
I cherish that moment You said come to Me

My steps firm with the victory of the cross

I think back to how You guided me
Away from some harmful road

Your amazing love and Sovereignty
The road to salvation by Your grace
The reason why You guided me.

What great joy to praise my Lord God
To lift my voice in song of glory to the King
Elation overwhelms my soul
Singing praises, what joy it does bring

For He delights in those who follow him
There is overflowing grace to be had
Joy so pure, inexpressible
When you can make the Master glad.

Opening my eyes, my mind starts to race
On the many things I need to do
Looking toward the light filtering in
With joy my thoughts turn to you
I whisper Your name in prayer
Rejoice in a brand new day
